Inari sushi

Do you know "Inari-sushi"??

It's one kind of sushi and "cone sushi" in English.

This is "Inari-sushi"

rice wrapped in deep-fried bean curd

It is sweet-sour because rice is vinegared rice.

I loooooove it!!!!

I love rice,

I love sushi,

so.... I loove "Inari sushi"

By the way...
I went to Korean restaurant with my Korean friend before.

AND, I found it↓

INARI SUSHI!!!?

but it is Korean restaurant...

I was really surprised!!

I asked my Korean friend,

"Is it Korean-food?"
but she said

"I don't know."

Here, I'm gonna tell you about "Inari sushi"

It was made in Edo era.

Inari means "rice glow up", so it is a god of rice & rich crop.

People make Inari sushi to pray rich crop.

I think Japanese like luck like New Years dishes.

All of food in New Years dihes have meanings.

What is funny...

The shape of Inari sushi is different in eastern and western Japan.

East=oblong (like rice bale)

West=triangle△

to get back what I was saying...

I searched Korean Inari sushi on the web,

but I couldn't find origin.

However, I found this

it is Korean one.

It's colorful and unique!!

There are Kimuchi and Pinapple in the Inari sushi!!!

I don't know Korean Inari sushi was imported from Japan or not,

but I think Japanese one affect Korean one, definitely!!!

Enjoy eating:)
